When asked what she does at Parallel, Natalise says she's "simply a translator" (of microbiome science). Her path to biotech was anything but conventional: a Stanford physics major turned signed recording artist who performed for 30,000 people at the Oakland Arena, then founded her own record label before earning her MBA at Stanford GSB. Named one of Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 10 Inspiring Healthcare Entrepreneurs to Watch, she brings a rare combination of scientific rigor and creative vision to Parallel. Nathan leads Parallel Health's scientific research and development, overseeing microbiome genomics, phage therapy development, and clinical research initiatives. His expertise spans microbiology, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, and AI engineering — enabling Parallel to transform complex genomic data into actionable insights and precision therapeutics. He is passionate about bringing phage therapy, a safe and effective technology, to the consumer space.
